Nonwoven super‐hydrophobic fiber membranes have potential applications in oil–water separation and membrane distillation, but fouling negatively impacts both applications. Membranes were prepared from blends comprising poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and random zwitterionic copolymers of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) with sulfobetaine methacrylate (SBMA) or with sulfobetaine‐2‐vinylpyridine (SB2VP). PVDF imparts mechanical strength to the membrane, while the copolymers enhance fouling resistance. Blend composition was varied by controlling the PVDF‐to‐copolymer ratio. Nonwoven fiber membranes were obtained by electrospinning solutions of PVDF and the copolymers in a mixed solvent of N,N‐dimethylacetamide and acetone. The PVDF crystal phases and crystallinities of the blends were studied using wide‐angle X‐ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). PVDF crystallized preferentially into its polar β‐phase, though its degree of crystallinity was reduced with increased addition of the random copolymers. Thermogravimetry (TG) showed that the degradation temperatures varied systematically with blend composition. PVDF blends with either copolymer showed significant increase of fouling resistance. Membranes prepared from blends containing 10% P(MMA‐ran‐SB2VP) had the highest fouling resistance, with a fivefold decrease in protein adsorption on the surface, compared to homopolymer PVDF. They also exhibited higher pure water flux, and better oil removal in oil–water separation experiments. © 2018 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

为探究挠性筋结构单晶硅材料的各向异性特性以及KOH腐蚀工艺对其力学性能的影响规律,进行纳米压痕实验,并结合原子力显微镜观察单晶硅表层3个主晶面上压痕裂纹形貌随晶向的变化规律,分析单晶硅材料表层弹性模量、硬度、断裂韧性等机械力学特性参数在(001)、(110)及(111)3个主要晶面上沿各个晶向的变化规律;分析挠性筋结构单晶硅材料(001)晶面的KOH腐蚀工艺对其材料表面机械特性的影响规律.结果表明:挠性筋单晶硅在(001)晶面上弹性模量的各向异性变化幅度明显,硬度及断裂韧性各向异性的变化幅度不大;挠性筋单晶硅在(110)晶面弹性模量和断裂韧性的各向异性变化幅度明显,硬度各向异性变化幅度不大;挠性筋单晶硅在(111)晶面硬度值、弹性模量及断裂韧性参数的变化幅度幅值均较小;确定了单晶硅表层3个晶面裂纹最易扩展的晶向方向,KOH腐蚀工艺使得单晶硅表面质量降低,腐蚀后暴露的表面微裂纹、缺陷等会使得单晶硅(001)晶面表层硬度、断裂韧性降低,从而降低了挠性筋结构的实际断裂强度.  相似文献

Sr3Al2-xBxO5Cl2:Eu2+, Dy3+ (x = 0, 0.2, 0.4) long persistent phosphors were prepared via solid-state process. The pristine Sr3Al2O5Cl2:Eu2+, Dy3+ phosphor exhibits orange/red broad band emission around 609 nm, which can be attributed to the electric radiation transitions 4f65 d1→4f7 of Eu2+. Upon the same excitation, the B3+-doped Sr3Al2-xBxO5Cl2:Eu2+, Dy3+ phosphors display red-shift from 609 nm to 625 nm with increasing B3+ concentrations. The XRD patterns show that Al3+ can be replaced by B3+ in the host lattice at the tetrahedral site, which causes lattice contraction and crystal field enhancement, and thereafter achieves the red-shift on the emission spectrum. The XPS investigation provides direct evidence of the dominant 2-valent europium in the phosphor, which can be ascribed for the broad band emission of the prepared phosphors. The afterglow of all phosphors show standard double exponential decay behavior, and the afterglow of Sr3Al2O5Cl2:Eu2+, Dy3+is rather weak, while the sample co-doped with B3+shows longer and stronger afterglow, as confirmed after the curve simulation. The analysis of thermally stimulated luminescence showed that, when B3+ is introduced, a much deeper trap is created, and the density of the electron trap is also significantly increased. As a result, B3+ ions caused redshift and enhanced afterglow for the Sr3Al2-xBxO5Cl2:Eu2+, Dy3+ phosphor.  相似文献

As an industrial solid waste, pyrite cinder exhibited excellent reactivity and cycle stability in chemical looping combustion. Prior to the experiment, oxygen carriers often experienced a high temperature calcination process to stabilize the physico-chemical properties, which presented significant influence on the redox performance of oxygen carriers. However, the effect of calcination temperature on the cyclic reaction performance of pyrite cinder has not been studied in detail. In this work, the effect of calcination temperature on the redox activity and attrition characteristic of pyrite cinder were studied in a fluidized-bed reactor using CH4 as fuel. A series of pyrite cinder samples were prepared by controlling the calcination temperature. The redox activity and attrition rate of the obtained pyrite cinder samples were investigated deeply. The results showed that calcination temperature displayed significant impact on the redox performance of pyrite cinder. Considering CH4 conversion (80%–85%) and attrition resistance, the pyrite cinder calcined at 1050?℃ presented excellent redox properties. In the whole experiment process, the CO2 selectivity of the pyrite cinder samples were not affected by the calcination temperature and were still close to 100%. The results can provide reference for optimizing the calcination temperature of pyrite cinder during chemical looping process.  相似文献

We investigated the optical and electrical properties of Ta2O5/Ag/Ta2O5 films as functions of the thicknesses of the Ta2O5 and Ag layers. It was found that with an increase in the thicknesses of the Ta2O5 and Ag layers from 10 to 40 nm and from 12 to 24 nm, respectively, the sheet resistance, carrier concentration, electron mobility, and resistivity of the Ta2O5/Ag/Ta2O5 film varied from 2.02 to 8.95 Ω/sq, 5.74 × 1021 to 2.92 × 1022 cm–3, from 13.21 to 24.07 cm2/V·s, and from 8.89 × 10-6 to 8.24 × 10-5 Ω cm, respectively. The average transmittance (Tav) of the multilayer samples ranged from 57.18% to 93.99%, and it depended on the Ta2O5 and Ag layer thicknesses. The highest Tav of 93.99% was observed for the film with 35 nm thick Ta2O5 and 18 nm thick Ag layers, and the peak Haacke's figure of merit (157.04 × 10–3 Ω–1) was obtained for 20 nm thick Ta2O5 and 21 nm thick Ag layers. Ta2O5 (100 nm) and Ta2O5/Ag/Ta2O5 (20 nm/21 nm/20 nm) samples had optical bandgaps of 4.70 and 4.45 eV, respectively. Film Wizard simulations were conducted to understand the dependence of the transmittance of the multilayer on the thicknesses of the Ta2O5 and Ag layers, and phasor analyses were performed to determine how the transmittance of the Ta2O5/Ag/Ta2O5 (20 nm/21 nm/20 nm) film depended on the Ta2O5 layer's thickness.  相似文献

Lipids play an essential role in platelet functions. It is known that polyunsaturated fatty acids play a role in increasing platelet reactivity and that the prothrombotic phenotype plays a crucial role in the occurrence of major adverse cardiovascular events. The ongoing increase in cardiovascular diseases’ incidence emphasizes the importance of research linking lipids and platelet function. In particular, the rebound phenomenon that accompanies discontinuation of clopidogrel in patients receiving dual antiplatelet therapy has been associated with changes in the lipid profile. Our many years of research underline the importance of reduced HDL values for the risk of such a rebound effect and the occurrence of thromboembolic events. Lipids are otherwise a heterogeneous group of molecules, and their signaling molecules are not deposited but formed “on-demand” in the cell. On the other hand, exosomes transmit lipid signals between cells, and the profile of such changes can be monitored by lipidomics. Changes in the lipid profile are organ-specific and may indicate new drug action targets.  相似文献

Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP) is an autoimmune disease characterized by autoantibodies-mediated platelet destruction, a prevalence of M1 pro-inflammatory macrophage phenotype and an elevated T helper 1 and T helper 2 lymphocytes (Th1/Th2) ratio, resulting in impairment of inflammatory profile and immune response. Macrophages are immune cells, present as pro-inflammatory classically activated macrophages (M1) or as anti-inflammatory alternatively activated macrophages (M2). They have a key role in ITP, acting both as effector cells, phagocytizing platelets, and, as antigen presenting cells, stimulating auto-antibodies against platelets production. Eltrombopag (ELT) is a thrombopoietin receptor agonist licensed for chronic ITP to stimulate platelet production. Moreover, it improves T and B regulatory cells functions, suppresses T-cells activity, and inhibits monocytes activation. We analyzed the effect of ELT on macrophage phenotype polarization, proposing a new possible mechanism of action. We suggest it as a mediator of macrophage phenotype switch from the M1 pro-inflammatory type to the M2 anti-inflammatory one in paediatric patients with ITP, in order to reduce inflammatory state and restore the immune system function. Our results provide new insights into the therapy and the management of ITP, suggesting ELT also as immune-modulating drug.  相似文献

Here we present the rational design and synthetic methodologies towards proteolysis-targeting chimeras (PROTACs) for the recently-emerged target leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2). Two highly potent, selective, brain-penetrating kinase inhibitors were selected, and their structure was appropriately modified to assemble a cereblon-targeting PROTAC. Biological data show strong kinase inhibition and the ability of the synthesized compounds to enter the cells. However, data regarding the degradation of the target protein are inconclusive.
